“Working with John as my coach felt like I had a very supportive and safe space to challenge my limiting beliefs and see myself from a new perspective. I’m just incredibly grateful for having worked with you because I don’t think I could have taken on this behemoth of a project and all of the uncertainties and challenges and getting out of my comfort zone in so many different ways. I don’t know if I would’ve been able to find that strength and wisdom within myself and honor it and get the support I needed from many different.I can also say that through this project I’ve met, So many incredible ICF certified coaches with decades of experience. And yet, John, you still stand out. I mean this very sincerely because he’s a great listener. John is particularly gifted at finding the patterns and connecting between different things, stories I’ve told myself or ideas I had that I couldn’t see the pattern. He would reflect them back to me in ways that were so meaningful that they would immediately provoke a major insight. He helped me discover and name a story I have been telling myself for.  that would bring down my energy and not allow me to embody the powerful woman that I am to achieve the dreams and success that I’m set out for. And by doing so, I’ve now been able to completely shift that narrative and my self image in that respect to be a more empowered and effective person. “

John is a great coach because he pushed me to dig deeper to the root of my problem while providing constructive guidance. He was patient and always tailored the sessions based on my needs. I would recommend John to anyone who wants to improve themselves and increase their quality of life.”

Higher Education Professional

John not only helped me tackle the problems that kept me from being assertive in my new leadership role at work but helped me find my own pervasive bad habits that kept me from running the narrative I wanted for my future self. He supported me in confronting my inner obstacles and after every session, he gave me a goal or exercise to do so I could determine for myself my own problematic patterns, and gave actionable ways for me to overcome such obstacles. I was letting my stress or anxiety run my career interactions at one point or another and with his help I felt like I could notice and control my outcomes a lot better during those instances. Overall, he strove to help me achieve a better me and that was completely and utterly needed to grow past my inner roadblocks and achieve success.”

UX Practitioner

Organizations my past clients come from:

John coaches utilizing a holistic, person-centered approach to make sense of your goals, roadblocks, and motivators. He partners with clients to leverage their experiences and strengths to figure out how people can get to where they want to go. John is able to blend his experience as a leader, deep familiarity with leadership, and his work actively facilitating and coaching other leaders to help bring insight and new possibilities. Some of his favorite topics to work through with people is fighting their imposter syndrome and inner critic (which happens with leaders of all levels in an organization), managing their relationship to authority, developing their influence skills, navigating complex change, and the “stretch” that many people face when caught between multiple stakeholders.
