The Stakeholder Management Skillset: Collaborate Better, Get Real Feedback, Lead with Impact
During the session, we explored the key skills behind effective stakeholder management, focusing on how leaders can collaborate better, get honest feedback, and build stronger alignment across their organizations. Participants reflected on their own stakeholder relationships and learned practical ways to engage peers, senior leaders, and teams more intentionally.
We also introduced the idea of looking beyond immediate stakeholders to understand the broader impact of leadership decisions. The session concluded with a live coaching segment, where real challenges were discussed and applied in real time, giving participants clear, actionable insights they can use in their day-to-day leadership.
Executive Coach and Speaker
Michael Seelman is the CEO of the Leadership Coach Group and an executive coach with over 20 years of experience helping people and organizations lead effectively and accomplish their mission. The Leadership Coach Group was recently recognized by Manage HR Magazine as one of the Top 10 organizational development firms in the United States. It provides executive coaching, leadership training, leadership assessments, team coaching, and inspirational speakers.
Michael’s includes working with CEOs and other senior leaders to bring out their best performance, serve their people, and live a more fulfilled life. He has coached over 150 leaders on five continents – collaborating with them to level up their performance and achieve their goals. Over two decades, Michael served in leadership roles at the White House, FBI, U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He was often called upon to start up high-profile offices and initiatives. At the White House in Vice President Al Gore’s reinventing government office, he led a new gun violence reduction effort in collaboration with mayors and police chiefs.
