DISC for Leaders
Read People Faster, Communicate Better & Hire Wisely
In this webinar, Rob Followell and Angela Farmer introduced leaders to the DISC framework and explored how understanding behavioral styles can improve communication, leadership effectiveness, hiring decisions, and team development. Attendees learned the characteristics of the four DISC styles and gained practical insight into how different personalities communicate, make decisions, and respond to challenges in the workplace.
The session also highlighted practical applications of DISC in leadership, coaching, hiring, sales, and team development. Participants left with strategies for adapting their communication, recognizing strengths and motivators, and building stronger workplace relationships through greater self-awareness and understanding of others.
Coaches
Angela is an executive coach and trainer. She excels at helping others reach their potential by assisting them to identify their strengths, values, and how they show up for others. She brings a rich experience in professional development, healthcare, and human resources to her coaching engagements. She cares deeply for her clients who enjoy the warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental presence she brings to every session.
Angela is an entrepreneur who has run a successful retail clothing and durable medical equipment business. She served for several years at a local chamber of commerce overseeing a leadership development annual program, developing new programs, planning meetings and special events. She has also overseen company human resources and marketing functions.
Rob is an Executive Coach, Mentor, Leadership Development Architect, and Speaker. As a former hospital CEO and executive for over 25 years, Rob combines his extensive leadership experience and coaching skills to help elevate even the most successful leaders. Rob has developed and coached dozens of talented people who have since advanced to become CEOs, COOs, CNO, VPs, Senior Directors, Presidents, and Owners.
Rob is following his passion for helping equip others to be more effective leaders. His clients say he has an intuition that leads him to ask the right questions or reframe the issue in a way to help bring forth new personal insights and breakthroughs. He understands the need to generate a return on investment and believes nothing generates the level of ROI as coaching and leadership development.
